White Light #1
White Light #1
Without light in some form, there is no photography. It is both the source of its existence and a fundamental element in the alchemy of its making.
The ’White Light’ series was made in an as yet incomplete shell of a commercial building, with only the basic structure of walls, roof and floor in place and openings ready to receive future doors and windows. It’s final purpose and use is uncertain to me and the building itself has no noteworthy design or architectural merit, but the unfinished interior space allowed me to explore the beauty of light utilising the construction’s limited parameters at a particular time of the day.

About the print
The C-Type print is made on Fuji Crystal Archive paper by specialist printers Spectrum Photographic. Every print is provided with a white border around the image in order that you can frame or hang the print as you choose.
Each print is individually numbered, with the image and print date, and signed on an accompanying Certificate of Authenticity.
Orders for prints are all supplied unframed as, as well as avoiding additional transport costs, the style of frame or other hanging method is I believe down to the personal taste of each collector.
Your print will be carefully packaged in Kraft paper and posted to you in a strengthened tube to ensure that it reaches you in perfect condition.
